End User Terms

These terms govern access to and use of the Refr.you platform by individual end users.

1. Introduction

These End User Terms ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Refr.you platform (the "Platform") by individual end users ("End Users"). Refr.you belongs to Rebar Technology Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with registered office at 8 High Street, Heathfield, East Sussex, England, TN21 8LS ("we", "us", "our").

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

2. Relationship structure

The Platform is provided to business customers under separate contractual arrangements. End Users access the Platform as individuals, separate from business customers. These Terms apply between you (as an End User) and Rebar Technology Ltd.

Nothing in these Terms creates a contractual relationship between End Users.

3. Eligibility and access

  • Be invited by an existing End User or employee of Refr.you to access the Platform.
  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Keep your login details secure.

You are responsible for all activity carried out through your account. We may suspend or terminate access if authorisation is withdrawn or these Terms are breached.

4. Use of the platform

You may use the Platform only for its intended professional and networking purposes and in compliance with these Terms, our Community Guidelines, and applicable law. You must not misuse the Platform, attempt to disrupt its operation, or access areas you are not authorised to use.

5. Networking features and interactions

The Platform may allow you to create a profile, connect and communicate with other End Users, and share content and information. We provide the Platform as a technology intermediary only. We do not verify End User identities, endorse content, or take responsibility for interactions between users.

You engage with other End Users at your own discretion and risk.

6. User content

You are responsible for any content you upload, post, or otherwise make available on the Platform ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions, the content does not infringe rights, and the content complies with these Terms and applicable law.

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, and make User Content available solely for operating and improving the Platform.

7. Acceptable use

You must comply with our Community Guidelines, which form part of these Terms. In particular, you must not:

  • Harass, abuse, threaten, or discriminate against others.
  • Impersonate another person or organisation.
  • Send spam or unsolicited communications.
  • Upload malicious code or harmful material.
  • Use the Platform for unlawful or deceptive purposes.

8. Moderation and enforcement

We do not actively monitor all content or activity but reserve the right to remove or restrict access to content, suspend or terminate access, and notify relevant business customers where we reasonably believe these Terms or the Community Guidelines have been breached, or where required by law.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or the Community Guidelines, if required by law or a regulator, or if your access is withdrawn by the business customer. Termination does not affect any accrued rights or obligations.

10. Intellectual property

All intellectual property rights in the Platform (excluding User Content) are owned by or licensed to us. You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive right to use the Platform during the period you are authorised to access it.

11. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the Platform will always be available or error-free, that networking interactions will lead to any particular outcome, or that information shared by other users is accurate or reliable.

12. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Subject to the above, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of, or inability to use, the Platform, interactions between End Users, or reliance on User Content or communications.

13. Privacy and cookies

Use of the Platform is subject to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be made available on the Platform. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute arising in connection with these Terms, subject to any mandatory statutory protections for End Users.
